About Lovelace Intelligent Systems

Lovelace Intelligent Systems (LIS) is a division of the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (LRRI), which possesses over 60 years of animal operations experience. In 2002, LRRI came to a conclusion: nothing existed in the marketplace that met ongoing training or daily animal management needs.

In order to fulfill LRRI's own internal needs, we developed the Animal Management System (AMS), Training Manager and Skill Set Management. These products have been in commercial use since 2002 and applied to research projects for notables such as the DOD, DOE, DHS, NIH, and over 150 private clients. AMS has received the Army Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) (Cert #201417488).

Lovelace Intelligent Systems was created to make this software available to the wider community. Our proven experience with pre-clinical animal model studies placed us in an unique position to realize shortcomings of software in the marketplace, but more importantly, having a team of experts on-hand allowed us to solve day-to-day operational needs and streamline reporting, while ensuring regulatory compliance. Having gained a place in the market based on repeated successful installations and associated training and integration support, the LIS team is prepared to assist you with your software needs.
