Skill Sets

Lovelace Intelligent Systems (LIS) is a subsidiary of the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (LRRI). LIS offers a comprehensive Skill Set Management System that was designed to manage the skills and the skill levels of employees and external personnel.

Skill Sets ensures that government mandated, industry specific, company required skills are tracked in an efficient, electronic format. Skill Sets is a web-based software application that does not require any client software other than the web browser and Adobe PDF Reader. Skill Sets provides a tree-like structure for organizing the skills so they are easy to find and manage. Any number of skills and all types of skills can be tracked in Skill Sets. When a skill is assigned to a person, there is also a skill level associated with the skill that defines the level of competency the employee has with the skill. Skill Sets includes the following key features:

Skill Sets Management Features:

  • 21 CFR Part 11: Provides a full audit trail and electronic signatures
  • Role Based: Establishes what each user can see and do
  • Customizable: Tailored to meet your operational needs. The skill sets and the competency levels are defined by you for your organizational needs
  • Critical Reporting: Provides reports on what people have what skills and skill levels so you can determine if training is needed to conduct a study or if trained personnel are available
  • Recurring Requirement: Records the date the skill was verified and if and when the skill needs to be re-verified. This allows tracking of skills that need periodic updates.
